How many hats can you wear? We're a small team of 8 dedicated to providing our customers with really nice packaging - ya know, like the to-go bag you leave with when you order too many cookies at Villa Italia. We've been doing this for 60 years and, dare we say, we're pretty darn good at it. The thing is, our recent growth has left us scrambling a bit. It's time to find some help. Maybe you?

As you can imagine, with such a small team, we need someone willing and able to wear a lot of hats. If you join our team, you would probably be doing a mixture of:

  • Shipping packages
  • Taking orders (talking with customers)
  • Fulfilling orders (talking with vendors, etc.)
  • Supporting your fellow team members
  • Making our customers happy

We'd like you to have some experience with spreadsheets (we mostly use Google Sheets) and Quickbooks Enterprise or some kind of order management system or ERP. We'd be happy to work with the right person even if they don't have these skills. Mostly, we're looking for someone kind, who enjoys going above and beyond, who can pick up new skills quickly, and who can satisfy our COO's obsessive need for order and precision.

Where would I be working?

Our office is located at 1040 Broadway in Menands, NY. We’d need you to initially work from home due to lack of space in our office. Please consider this an in-office position, though; it may just be a while before we’re ready for you to move in. If you are someone who enjoys working from home and who can work well in that space, we can certainly discuss having you work remotely for some of your hours.

When and how much would I be working?

This position is for 40 hours/week. People in our office generally work from around 9 to 5. Some folks start earlier or later. We want to find a schedule that feels good for you, and can work around your needs so long as it doesn’t prevent us meeting the needs of our customers.

What is the compensation?

Compensation is $36k-$44k depending on experience and skillz. We have a 401(k) with matching that you'll be entitled to after working with us for 3 months, a profit-share program that's in the works, and you'll be eligible for up to 2 weeks of vacation which you'll earn over the course of your first year with us. Finally, we offer an insurance stipend which you can apply to your insurance program or fold into your salary.

Pay: $38,000.00 - $44,000.00 per year
