Data Privacy Operations Manager
The Manager, Data Privacy Operations manages the day-to-day activities of Data Privacy Operations by working with multiple cross functional stakeholders at varying levels of management. This role anticipates requirements, develops and implements solutions based on industry best practices and sound business judgment to mitigate risks and to achieve key objectives. The ideal candidate thrives amidst ambiguity, monitors the privacy legal landscape, understands the applicable data, leverages data management skills and technology to facilitate compliance with Data Privacy laws and Cox policies.

The ideal candidate thrives amidst ambiguity, monitors the privacy legal landscape, understands the applicable data, leverages data management skills and technology to facilitate compliance with Data Privacy laws and Cox policies.
What You'll Do
- Manage operations for the data subject rights solution including requests to and from third-party service providers.
- Leverage technology and provide data analysis services across multiple products, business or organizational areas to onboard data in scope for data subject rights requests.
- Collaborate with Information Management, Legal, Marketing, Information Security, Government Affairs, Supply Chain, Operations, and other affected departments to support and improve our comprehensive privacy program, consistent with relevant laws and regulations.
- Advance and enforce Consumer Data Privacy compliance strategies such as Privacy by Design throughout the development lifecycle of new technology, product, and marketing initiatives.
- Ensure Consumer Data Privacy policy and process controls are well understood and followed by the enterprise.
- Support enterprise efforts to improve Data Privacy and Data Retention governance.
- Maintain expertise in technologies such as Onetrust Cookie Consent, BigID Data Inventory, and Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog to enable continued compliance with internal policies and applicable laws and regulations.
- Retain International Association of Privacy Professionals IAPP (International Association of Privacy Professionals) certification (e.g., CIPP-US).

Who You Are
Minimum
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 6 years' experience (data management or product/ process development or management preferably in the telecommunications industry). The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years' experience in a related field with no degree
- Well defined analytical and data management skills
- Highly knowledgeable on data lifecycle management and understanding the privacy implications at every stage
- Knowledgeable of the privacy legal landscape regulating the collection, use, tracking and sharing of personal information via first-party, third-party, cookies, or mobile application
- Excellent record delivering multiple projects on time and within budget with little supervision in a time critical environment
- Proficient in Office 365 (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
- Experience effectively communicating with cross functional teams and building consensus among stakeholders
- Ability to exercise good judgment, to balance risks in ambiguous and complex situations and to influence without authority
- Passionate about privacy and technology
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Management/ Business Information Systems, Computer Science or related field
- Experience in Data Architecture, Data Discovery, Metadata Management, and Data Lineage
- 1-3 years of experience implementing and supporting Onetrust applications
- Experience with the AdTech ecosystem, third-party cookie technology
- Ability to quickly spot issues and appropriately prioritize risks and outcomes
- Strong presentation skills
