Job description
We are looking for a candidate who is caring, responsible, and loves working with children to join our team! This position is for a float (all age groups) for our Scranton location. We work with infants 6 weeks-school-age children.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, be patient, nurturing, and able to provide a safe and engaging environment for our students. As a childcare worker, you will be responsible for supervising children at all times, using best practice, planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, and helping them develop socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18+
- High school diploma
- Must have a flexible schedule between 7:30-5:30
- Experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, and/or a similar setting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A warm and friendly tone of voice and personality with a gentle approach
- Verbal and written communication skills
