Job Title: Delivery Driver/CDL
Department: Yard
Reports to: Production Supervisor

Job Summary:
GATE Precast Company is looking for an experienced Class A CDL semi-truck driver for its Kissimmee, FL facility to deliver precast concrete panels and other materials to local customers/vendors.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Loading and delivering of precast concrete panels to our customers safely, on time, and without defects.
• Loading and delivering heavy metal pieces to our customers.
• Re-palletizing and wrapping products for shipment.
• Interacts professionally with internal and external customers.
• Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times.
• Performs pre-shift and post-shift safety inspections daily.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
• Maintains good housekeeping and follows GATE Precast safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as steel toe laced up ankle work boots, hard hats, work gloves, safety glasses, safety vests, and an approved respirator (if applicable).
• Performs additional duties as requested or required.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required.
• Must have a clean driving record and current DOT medical card.
• Precast/construction experience preferred, but not required.
• At least two years of related experience is required.

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, twist, and walk, must be able to use various hand tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance on elevated surfaces; and stoop, kneel, squat, crouch or crawl. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Constant and continual medium to heavy manual, physical labor is required for this position.
Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as steel toe laced up ankle work boots, hard hats, work gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection. This is an indoor/outdoor work environment: Exposure to sun, heat, humidity, cold, wind, light rain, sand, and dust.

$2,000 Sign-On Bonus ($1,000 at 90 days and $1,000 at 6 months)
