The City of Fruitland Park, Florida is a beautiful small city with a population of approximately 10,000 people. It is located in Central FL close to The Villages, Orlando, Disney World and the beaches.

Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced accounting/finance professional with experience in municipal government. You must have a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (non-negotiable). If you have worked in any public accounting position and want a change, please call us or apply.

This individual will work closely with the Finance Director and will manage a department of four (currently) which includes utilities. You will have good management skills, and be responsible for utilities, collection, safekeeping and disbursement of city funds.

You will have good interpersonal skills who can supervise and interact professionally with all levels of people including the public, peers, co-workers.
