PURPOSE/DESCRIPTION:
  • Responsible for managing DEX production, projects & core parts activities for all DEX locations.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for developing DEX production, projects & core parts activities including but not limited to, establishing process flow for items to achieve max efficiency through research, flow design, quality control standards, time studies, equipment , space evaluation, material needs and best practices.
  • Responsible for oversight of DEX production, and Core Parts team in driving growth in this business area.
  • Develops and reviews production, projects, system processes and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record- keeping systems, budgetary constraints, personnel requirements, and change management.
  • Forecasting requirements and timelines for production activities developed through cross functional team cooperation.
  • Provides direct management to the production & core parts support teams.
  • Ensures production methods and products follow established HSE standards.
  • Reducing quality cost with the help of analysis of non-conformance products on periodic basis and by following suitable actions (both corrective and preventive).
  • Development of employee training guidelines bringing into use the standards of the performance derived from work measurement studies.
  • Assesses project resource requirements and overseeing through to industrialization.
  • Coordinates reviews with procurement to address supplier quality issues.
  • Advises/supports leadership of quality and production within the organization.
  • Provides training and supports continual process improvement process.
  • Controls the calibration process for tools and equipment as required.
  • Quality liaison between production, senior management, and individual departments.
  • Support and manage DEX operational projects as needed for business operations.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3-5 years of supervisory/managerial experience is preferred
  • At least 3 years of industry experience in heavy duty trucks, manufacturing/production, automotive, aftermarket parts, salvage, or component refurbishing preferred
