DSP (Direct Support Professional)- Caregiver— Essential Job
Starting at $13.66 per hour

Dayshift: 7:00am-3:00pm

Evening Shift : 3:00pm-11:00pm

Overnight Shift: 11pm-7:00am

No Experience Required- We Provide Paid Training
Stonebrook Community Services, a division of enCircle, is seeking compassionate individuals to provide support to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in their residential group home dwelling.
What are the General Duties and Responsibilities?

• Provide support and direction in self-care, communication, self-direction, independent living, mobility, and learning.
• Assist in preparation of nutritional meals and family style dining with the residents.
• Support individuals in daily tasks, such as cleaning of living areas, personal laundry responsibilities, and community outings.
• Assist with activities such as physical exercises, occupational arts and crafts and recreational games.
• Daily documentation and record keeping.

• Day Shift, Evening Shift, Overnight Shift, and Weekend Hours
• Full-Time
• Part-Time
• Flexible Scheduling and Double shifts

Where are our group homes located?

• Martinsburg, WV
• Inwood, WV
• Falling Waters, WV
• Hedgesville, WV

What are the minimal requirements?

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School diploma or GED (preferred but not required)
• Ability to pass WV Cares background check and drug screen.
• Ability to pass our paid training in CPR, First Aid and DSP orientation
• Must be vaccinated or willing to be vaccinated for COVID-19

A Direct Support Professional (DSP) is someone who works directly with people who have intellectual or developmental disabilities. DSP's aim to assist people in realizing their full potential; they help people become integrated and engaged in their community. They interact and provide companionship to ensure the emotional and physical needs of the individual thea re caring for is being met.

Stonebrook Community Services is a division of enCircle based out of Roanoke Va. Our agency provides programs and services that focus on quality care, with the goal of supporting meaningful life experiences for people with disabilities. Our staff act as a mentor and a friend to help people attain their goals while ensuring their health, safety, and medical needs are met. enCircle offers an array of services for adults with developmental disabilities in many locations across the state of Virgina and West Virginia.
