The Human Resources Business Partner reports directly to our Global Chief Human Capital Officer (with indirect reporting to jurisdictional leaders), provides direct support to the APAC and EMEA jurisdictions, and contributes to a dynamic Human Capital team that is driving connectivity and growth throughout the organisation. This position is co-located with the business in our London office.
Job Purpose
You will work in partnership with business leaders to provide professional, client-driven counsel that supports business objectives, collaboration, and growth. The Human Resources Business Partner supplies both strategic and tactical input to relevant business issues, serving as the primary point of contact for all HC programs, projects, and initiatives.
Key Activities
- Consult and support managers in all aspects of talent management (e.g., identification and analysis of talent gaps and organisational risks). Work closely with managers and entire team to evaluate current staff, identify high potential employees, create succession plans, and generate workforce plans that enable the strategy of the business and contribute to leadership capability planning for the organisation.
- Develop a solid understanding of the business and use knowledge of the business to frame data in a meaningful way when making recommendations. Work closely with managers to implement innovative solutions that drive performance, employee engagement and retention.
- Partner with managers to identify individual and organisation learning needs and aggregate learning needs on a jurisdictional and global level.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all HC needs, (e.g., workforce planning, total rewards, talent acquisition, engagement, employee relations, performance management) both strategic and tactical, to ensure that solutions are business focused and support the jurisdiction’s people strategy. Partners and consults with HC team to leverage knowledge and ensure consistent administration of policies, practices and programs across the globe.
Job Requirements
- The ideal candidate has an undergraduate degree in a related discipline, and ten or more years of relevant, progressively responsible HC experience in financial services, management consulting or professional services, ideally including program management. Master’s degree and relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CIPD).
- Experience working internationally with a high degree of HR mastery and willingness to roll up their sleeves to get things done. Strategic and tactical depending upon the need.
