Apple is looking for an engineer who can bring fresh perspective and integrate cutting edge technologies into our products. In this unique position, you will have a wide-dynamic and high-visible role ranging from understanding device physics, implementing circuit design, perform algorithm development, design pipeline architecture, leading prototype design, validating system integration, supporting mass production, and eventually being responsible for the front-of-screen display experience of new Apple devices.
Key Qualifications
- Solid fundamentals in electrical engineering/signal processing/image processing/or physics background
- Ability to understand architecture and algorithm development of complex systems
- Machine learning experience is highly desirable
- Excellent programming skills (python, Matlab,C, C++, Lua, etc.)
- Hands-on lab experience including data acquisition using test equipments are highly desirable
- Experience in display technologies (OLED, LCD, uLED, etc) is a plus
- Demonstrate engineering passion, initiative, and innovation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skill is a must
Description
Design architecture of display features and responsible for system integration Design and implement innovative algorithm(s) for display performance enhancement Use machine learning techniques to improve display image quality Extensive data analysis to establish electro-optical performance metrics and requirements through measurement and modeling Lead investigation of new display technologies for next generation products through prototype design, bring-up, debug, and characterization
Education & Experience
MS/EE +4 years, Phd Preferred in engineering, physics, or statistics disciplines
