General Description: The Site Operation Coordinator (SOC) will perform job duties necessary to securely destroy confidential information from security bins that have Personal Identifiable Information (PII), Protected Health Information (PHI), and VA Sensitive or Classified Information.

Duties: The Site Operation Coordinator (SOC) isto ensure documents/records appointed for destruction shall be securely contained during the transfer from the location to the shredding truck in such a way as to ensure that no records are lost or mislaid. To ensure that you:

Ø Confirm & keep all Bin Locations.

Ø Confirm Certificate of Destruction (COD) is provided to the COR.

Ø Gathering collection bags, Removal and/or Swap Out Containers

Ø Transport Materials to the requested location.

Ø Maintain the appearance of the containers i.e., broken locks, cleanliness, and peeling DSS logo.

Ø All duties are considered necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.

Site Operation Coordinator (SOC) shall not inspect, view, peruse, copy, or examine any confidential material or documents designed for shredding. (SOC) will also replace broken or tampered shred bins. At no time will the SOC touch the paper or allow a VA employee to remove it from the container.

Site Operation Coordinator will also aid shredding truck technicians at the VA facilities. At no time will the (SOC) work the shredding truck. (SOC) is needed to wear the company logo shirt and photo identification badge always while on duty.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
