Job description
Slidell company looking for an entry level Drafter to work with a team of Architects and Engineers and convert designs into technical plans.
Highlights:
- $18-$19 per hour
- Monday through Friday from 7a-4p

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to gather product and structural requirements and designs
- Calculate dimensions, weight limitations, and requirements in materials
- Create detailed designs with computer-aided design (CAD) software - 2D only
- Design diagrams, maps, and layouts to illustrate workflow
- Ensure final designs comply with regulations and quality standards
- Good math skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Must have taken an Architectural Drafting course in college if a recent grad
- Technical degree or higher in Drafting/Design, Engineering, or Architecture
