Job Responsibilities:

• Under limited supervision, review and/or develop operating procedures, practices and guidelines and communicates them with program staff.
• Assist with developing and conducting training (in person and online) for State EP staff, duty officer and DPH internal and external partners to ensure operational readiness locally, statewide, and regional.
• Work closely with the Logistics Specialist to identify resource needs and establish resource typing
• Assemble and participate in local, regional and/or national workgroups and/or response teams.
• Develop and maintain operational relationships with internal and external partners
• Work closely with the planning and exercise team to coordinate and participate in Statewide exercise efforts.
• Assist with developing performance measurement and improvement planning for operational aspects of the Public Health Emergency Preparedness Program.
• Providing Technical Support for the local Public Health Districts.
• Acting as Operations Coordination Lead in Department’s Emergency Operations Center and as a Public Health Liaison at Georgia Emergency Management Agency’s State Operations Center during an activation.
