What the role is
As an Engineer (ICA) with Catchment & Waterways Department, Polder Division your job role will include, but is not limited to the following:
What you will be working on
• Plan and carry out comprehensive maintenance programs for ICA, monitor progress of works and ensure proper maintenance records are updated in AMS • Prepare specifications, cost estimates and call tenders / quotations for maintenance, repair and replacement works for ICA equipment • Manage maintenance contracts and resources to achieve objectives timely and within budget • Preparation of annual budget and calling of tenders and quotations for maintenance works • Asset management according to requirements • Perform, maintain, and update the equipment and software inventory and keep track of all software licensing. • Carry out test bedding and implementation of new technologies to enhance reliability and improve productivity • Provide technical support and work with consultants to develop and implement SCADA/PLC systems • Ensure all SCADA/PLCs/Cyber Security equipment comply with the Board’s cybersecurity requirements in accordance with the Cyber Security Agency’s (CSA) Cybersecurity Act, Legislations, and the Cybersecurity Code of Practice (CCoP)
What we are looking for
• Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering • Experience in SCADA and PLC Systems • Prior experience in cybersecurity solutions and tools preferred • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Versatile and able to work independently as well as in a team environment Office Location: WaterHub (80 Toh Guan Road East) during this period, and will operate from Pulau Tekong in near future when the site is ready
