We have an immediate opening for a Repair Coordinator at our aerospace location in Chula Vista, CA. The primary function of this position is to perform structural analysis of in-service aircraft nacelle allowable damages and repairs.
Role Description:
- This role to support one-offs repair coordination engineering (Call Center and Inbox Management).
- This position is for a professional in Customer Service, who works independently in the receipt and coordination of customer inquiries.
- Uses process and product knowledge to appropriately route customer inquiries and resolves moderate to complex inquiries, provides statuses, and follow ups to customer.
- Escalate risk opportunities and complex issues to management.
- Works independently to confer with customers who contacts the organization by telephone or electronically, provides information about processes, products, and documentation, discusses customer inquiries, and obtains and addresses customer priorities.
- Independently, respond to calls or email from customers to provide information on in process inquiries.
- Understands documentation to solve customer issues/requests/complaints in accordance with established procedures and when required, redirects queries to appropriate department or personnel.
- Performs duties related to overall customer service.
- logging requests into the aftermarket database (MS Dynamics)
- Prioritize, sorts, coordinate customer incoming and existing inquiries.
- Serves as central communication point with all internal and external customers to Aftermarket.
- Provide coordination support to other teams in the organization with regards to customer inquiries
- Serves as customer interface on inquiry status and delivery.
- Works in call center for customer support (group email management and answer customer phone calls)
- Prioritize customer inquiries to ensure business targets are met.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers and provide extraordinary customer service.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and multitasking.
- Aerospace Experience (Desired)
- Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks with multiple priorities.
- Must have excellent computer skills especially OUTLOOK and MS Office in general.
- Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.
- Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.
- Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.
- Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
- Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9AM to 4PM
- Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.

Hourly rate range for this position in CA is $33.00/hr. - $36.00/hr.
