Qualifications for Homemaker / Personal Care Caregivers:

• Have at least one year of verifiable work experience in a related or unrelated to health care

Job Responsibilities for Homemakers:

• Perform light homemaking assistance, including help with personal laundry, meal preparation, and food shopping.
• Provide companionship
• Assist with maintenance of a safe physical environment

Job Responsibilities for Personal Care Caregivers (Post-Training):

• Activities of daily living
• Range of motion / exercises
• Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
• Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
• Assisting with ambulation
• Medication assistance
