RIB U.S. COST is looking for an Estimator/Engineer/Quantity Surveyor(with HVAC, Plumping, MEP experience is a plus) in the Miami Dade Metropolitan area to provide estimating for large infrastructure and transportation projects.

Responsibilities：

• Prepare and/or coordinate the preparation of full estimates on large and complex projects as required by client's documents
• Analyze and negotiate contractor change orders and claims on behalf of the client
• Consult with clients, architects, subcontractors, and material suppliers to discuss and formulate estimates, effect cost reductions, and resolve issues.
• Perform miscellaneous other job-related duties as assigned .

Qualification:

• Ability to develop estimates at multiple phases from design through construction
• Knowledge of, and proficiency in discipline-related systems
• Four-year degree in a related field
• 3 years of experience developing construction cost estimates is required.
• At least 1 year experience with a contractor during the construction phase of a project is strongly desired.
• Experience with large infrastructure and/or aviation projects preferred.
• Experience in HVAC/Plumping/MEP is a plus.
• Proficiency in computer skills including MS OFFICE suite
• Proficient utilizing estimating tools
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
• Exhibit a high degree of professionalism in the production of deliverables and in interactions with fellow employees and clients
• Strong desire to learn or expand upon new methods and software.
