VCA Knowles Snapper Creek Animal Hospital is seeking a talented Credentialed Veterinary Technician or (experienced veterinary assistant) to join our overnight and weekend team full time.

We are a 24/7 Emergency hospital staffed with an amazing team of compassionate and experienced veterinarians, highly skilled technicians and an awesome team of well-trained support staff. Applicants must have a positive attitude and an excellent work ethic with 3-4 years emergency experience preferred. Must be self-motivated and able to think on your feet.

VCA Veterinary Technicians – South Atlantic Group

Emergency Veterinary Technician Duties:

• Procedural anesthesia monitoring

• Full Technician Skill Utilization

• Collecting patient histories & thorough physical exams

• Venipuncture / IVC placement

• Advancing towards FULL Hands Free Radiology (Associate safety a top priority)

• Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services

• Providing compassionate care for all patients

• Ability to properly triage patients

Potential Schedule: Overnights with weekend and holiday availability.

Compensation: $18 – 25 / hour is based on skill set, experience, and licensure status
