Purpose of Job

This full time, benefit eligible position is responsible for managing and executing a wide variety of maintenance and repair tasks supporting multiple facilities. This role is located at our LeSueur facility.

Job Functions

• Can independently execute the following functions: basic/finish carpentry, basic electrical tasks, small equipment operation, basic plumbing tasks, physical movement of furniture, fixtures and equipment
• Can execute the following functions under supervision/guidance of others: lawncare, lock, key and hardware tasks, motor repair, pump repair, hospital beds, kitchen equipment, medical gas and air systems, water softening systems, domestic hot/cold water systems
• Demonstrates the ability to independently troubleshoot, identify, follow up and correct a variety of building deficiencies.
• Coordinates assigned areas of responsibility to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education / Work Expereince

• Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions
• Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Demonstrates effective skills in planning and organizing daily activities
• Ability to work autonomously and as a team

• Valid MN driver's license and meets Ridgeview's insurability requirements
• Special Boilers License or obtain with in the first 6 months

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of work experience in a health care setting
