Leidos is looking for a Team Leader to join the management team in our Indianapolis, Indiana contact center.

Use your management and mortgage experience to support a team of customer service representatives in assisting homeowners, home buyers and the lending industry with their mortgage related questions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Responsibilities include monitoring, coaching, mentoring, and training employees.
• Provide local subject matter expertise to all teams on Federal Housing Administration (FHA) policies and procedures.
• Assist the team in meeting all standards, including quality and service levels.
• Handle phone calls, emails, mail fulfillment, and voice mails as required.
• Maintain updated knowledge of FHA Mortgage Insurance products and policies.
• Relocation funding is not available for this position.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in mortgage origination and/or servicing.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Experience motivating and developing team members to meet and exceed performance standards.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to excel in a team environment and interact with other functional areas. Ability to be flexible, adapt and support changes to systems and processes in a fast-paced contact center environment.
• The ability to work an 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday between 8am to 8pm ET, including the closing shift (11:30am - 8:00pm ET).
• Must be able to successfully obtain a government security clearance which includes a credit check and background investigation.
