Rogers Group is currently seeking a Financial Analyst for our Eastern Tennessee Division, which is based in Knoxville, TN. This position reports to the Area Controller. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, intuitive problem- solving skills and the drive to meet ever evolving organizational needs.

***Starting salary from $65,000/year based on experience and education

Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in accounting functions of the East Tennessee operations including month-end close, financial analysis, accounts payable, inventory management, and other reporting as required by management
• Perform, summarize, and distribute quantitative analysis of weekly reports
• Assist in month-end accounting procedures and inventory management
• Assist in creation of annual business plan/forecast
• Manage/model capital expenditure project requests across all business units
• Design and build analysis tools and new reporting as needed using MS Excel and data mining tools
• Perform ad hoc analysis as needed by stakeholders throughout the market area.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience
• Effective communication skills: written and inter-personal
• Technical expertise in Microsoft Office suites (especially Excel)
• Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership
• Effective organizational skills to manage a dynamic workload
• Business analytics/data mining experience preferred
