The Stand Natural Foods Restaurant is an outdoor café. The Stand Natural Foods has been serving 100% Vegan food for over 48 years. We are located one block from the beach at 238 Thalia Street, Laguna Beach, CA 92651

You must apply in person by picking up an application in person at The Stand Natural Foods Restaurant. If you live more than 45 minutes away, this may not be the job for you.

We are looking for full or part time employees who can commit to at least 1 year of employment. Must be able to work either Saturday or Sunday. Shifts are from 6 am to 2 pm, 7:30 AM - 4 PM, 11 AM to 7 PM, or 12 to 8:30 PM. Employees will be trained to make all food items on the menu, food prep (yes you will be working with knives), clean up, cashier, etc., Must be able to lift 25-40 lbs., work well under pressure, perform duties quickly, and have the ability to pay attention to detail. We are open daily from 8 AM to 5:30 and may be open til 7 PM in the summer.

We are looking for positive happy attitudes and smiling faces. Yes, you can walk to the beach for your 30 minute lunch break!

Qualifications: good attitude, happy smiley people, not afraid to work, not afraid of knives, be able to move at a fast pace. IF YOU WANT FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT, 4 TO 5 DAYS PER WEEK, SCHEDULE PRIORITY IS GIVEN FOR THOSE WITH food prep or line cook experience.

Start at minimum wage for small business (less than 25 employees $15.50 per hour as of 1/1/2023) Once trained on all shifts, pay increase awarded within 60 days. With tips, employees average approx. $2.00 to $6.00 more per hour on average. Depending on number of hours worked and the generosity of our customers. Tips fluctuate and are not guaranteed.
