Caring family located in Los Angeles, seeking a dedicated and doting care provider for their two girls who are 4 and 8 years old. Both kids are in school a good majority of the day.

The family is seeking someone who walks into their home with a great attitude and a loving, happy disposition. The ideal candidate is someone high energy, active, and able to adjust their methods of care in ways that stimulate positive development, as the children grow. Must be an experienced candidate who will care for the kids as their own.

MUST BE OKAY WITH DOGS: 1 medium-sized dog

• M 12-8pm (8)
• Tu 12-8pm (8)
• W 2-10pm (8)
• Thur 12-8pm (8)

• Guarantee 32 hours a week

Pay: $32-38 per hour + PTO. Ideal candidate will have flexibility for more hours during summer and school breaks.

Primary responsibilities - first and foremost, creating an attentive and loving environment for the kids

• Maintain family schedule and be a clear communicator
• Pick up/Drive to after-school activities AS NEEDED (NO TEXTING WHEN DRIVING)
• Playing/reading to/with them, singing, teaching new skills and going for walks, planning activities, baking, playdates, arts and crafts
• Helping to keep backpacks organized and ready for school
• Ability to travel with family and open to getting a valid passport

Secondary responsibilities - household management

• Meal prep, including packing snacks and lunches for school
• Family Laundry as needed (washing, drying, folding, putting away)
• Dishes Load/Unload
• Garbage
• Organizing and tidying
• Grocery shopping and errands as needed
• Checking/Sorting mail and deliveries including Amazon
• General tidying of home each day (Family has housekeeper 2x’s per week so this is very basic)
• Maintaining the children’s areas and ensuring items are stocked and organized
• Packing/Organizing/Unpacking for trips

Must Haves:

• COVID vaccinated
• Open to getting flu shot
• CPR & First Aid Trained
• Education a plus
• Clean driving record, no DUI or DWI
• Non-Smoker
• 3+ years of nanny experience
• 3+ years of experience working with school-age kids
• Safe car for getting to and from work
• Be able to provide 3 - 5 supervisory references
• Healthy and active, able to keep up with the kids
• Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
• Exp. working with siblings who are close in age
