The John Krizay Company is an Ohio-based manufacturer, supplying critical components to the Aerospace, Power Production, and Fiber Optic industries for over 53 years. The company is currently seeking candidates to serve as the General Manager at its Salem, Ohio location.

Company offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience, with the potential for an annual performance-based bonus. The salary range for this position will be provided upon request to candidates that are selected to move to the second round of interviewing. We offer a comprehensive benefits plan, covering much of the employee premium for the base medical plan.

Under direction of the company President, the General Manager will direct daily operations. Specifically, the General Manager will:

• Oversee plant operations to ensure production efficiency, quality, customer satisfaction and cost-effective management of resources.
• Manage day to day operations and continually evaluate the performance of the business and strive for continual improvement.
• In collaboration with the plant management team, ensure adequate resources (personnel, materials, equipment, and training) are provided to meet the company objectives.
• Be responsible for meeting customer, statutory, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a work environment conducive to good employee morale while inspiring an overall team mindset.
• Perform basic engineering tasks in support of customers and production staff.
• Manage select day-to-day company finances, as requested.
• Provide regular status reporting to company President, Board of Directors, and Ownership group.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in management or related field, or extensive management experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of proven operations and management experience in a manufacturing environment with proven ability to drive sustainable results.
• Understanding of manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures
• Demonstrated effective management and leadership abilities.
• Ability to analyze operations and suggest improvements supported by data.
• Clean legal background and willingness to undergo thorough background check.
• High energy for on-the-floor, day-to-day management.
• Willingness to be on-site. This position is not eligible for remote work.
• Proven ability to lead by example.
