Global Fortune 500 industry leader, operating in 50+ countries throughout Asia, Europe, North and South Americas, is seeking a Director level Payroll strategist to help teams navigate complex payroll environments in multiple locations worldwide. This is a remote opportunity and can sit anywhere. Position will not require extensive travel, primarily a virtual role.

• Act a Subject Matter expert in a wide array of Payroll related matters including Operations, Compliance and System integrations
• Experience with global payrolls, expat and various payroll tax scenarios
• Liaise with Project Managers to execute deliverables
• Strategize with Business Unit leaders and Executive Team
• Extensive Payroll related M & A responsibilities from inception to due diligence straight through closing
• Ability to lead international payroll integrations
• Manage vendor implementation and transition
• Manage UAT and parallel testing
• Liaise with delivery team through entire lifecycle to "Go Live"
• Hands on experience with large payroll platforms
• Prior experience with both inhouse global payroll responsibilities as well as 3rd party Consultancy firms leading global payroll implementation for client companies would be an ideal fit

Requirements

• International experience, Mergers & Acquisitions
• Strong leadership and decision making capabilities
• Any professional designations a plus (ie CPP, Six Sigma etc)
