Dreyfuss Management is looking for a motivated Groundskeeper for a Multi-Family Community located in Pittsburgh, PA (must belong to or join the Union).

Summary of Primary Job Duties and Requirements

• Must be able to work in all weather conditions
• Skills in painting

• Responsible for the overall cleanliness and appearance of the entire property.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all public areas of the building(s), i.e., lobby, hallways, restrooms, stairwells, etc.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all “resident use” rooms such as community room kitchen, arts and crafts room, library, laundry room, trash disposal areas, etc.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all areas designated as off-limits to residents such as rental office, models, mechanical room, compactor room, maintenance shop, storage areas, etc.
• Maintain the physical appearance of the property, i.e., flower beds, shrubbery, sidewalks, parking lots, fencing, trash enclosures, etc.
• Paint curbs, speed bumps, balconies, doors, etc.
• Removal of bulk trash items from trash rooms and apartments.
• Stripping, sealing, waxing and buffing all floors on an as-needed basis or as specified.
• Dusting high and low in all areas, including railings, door casings, furniture in lobby, community room, office, etc.
• Washing windows where possible.
• Disinfecting toilet bowls, cleaning bathroom fixtures, and maintaining all public washroom areas in a sanitary condition.
• Dry sweeping or vacuuming of floors when needed or as specified by a schedule.
• Hosing down floors of the mechanical and compactor rooms.
• Assist maintenance personnel when assigned.
• Distribute and pick-op directionals weekly.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Must be able to climb a 15 ft. ladder unassisted.
• Clear all walkways and public areas of snow or debris.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and insurance vehicle
• Other duties as assigned.
• Opportunity to advance to a maintenance technician.
