Financial, Management & Regulatory Reporting

1. Responsible for liaising and giving timely instructions to management for the recording of transactions and payments. To ensure finance operations activities and the related reports including audited accounts are completed on a timely basis and in accordance to the applicable accounting and regulatory policies, standards and guidelines

2. Responsible for the retrieval of required data and information to support preparation of relevant analysis and business information to deliver financial risk management and any other regulatory requirements such as MAS requirements.

3. Responsible to deliver monthly management reports in designing or enhancing monthly management reports.

4. To review tax/GST Tax & GST, Compliant & Policy, Legal & Contract

Financial Planning & Budgeting

1. To prepare and implement the budget, capital plan and strategic plan to ensure timely, reliable and realistic forecasts.

2. To report on reviewing performance against plan, and provide board and management with a clear analysis of variances.

Capital Monitoring and Management

1. Manage time deposit placements or other short term cash investments

2. Manage FX conversions for operational requirements

3. Coordinate execution of cash transfers between bank accounts for funding arrangements

4. Review monthly cash flow

5. Coordinate bank account opening, closing and signatory updates, including e-banking platforms

6. Arrange approvals for and execute dividend remittances

Other Responsibilities

1. Recommend areas for enhancements and improvements for the current systems and processes to meet the challenges and needs of stakeholders. Participate in projects for any development, design, and implementation of new processes, controls, and functionality changes to existing systems and processes.

2. Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by management in order to meet financial reporting requirements and/or other projects.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree

Experience:

  • 5 + years finance functions including reporting and analysis in a multi-national company, and/or accounting and auditing experiences
  • 5 + years of supervisory or management experience managing Family investment holding

Specific Business Knowledge:

  • Good knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word.
  • Knowledge of how the SAP Accounting System and Business Intelligence System work and designed, and familiar with using the systems.

Others:

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to deal with local and group personnel at various levels.
