The Guardian EVI division is a wholly owned subsidiary of Guardian Fueling Technologies. One of the largest providers of fuel systems in the United States with over 600 employees and 19 branch offices. Ideal candidates will be responsible for the generation of new Electric Vehicle Charger business within our footprint. They should have previous electric vehicle charging experience. However, candidates with electric vehicles, fleets, solar, batteries or any renewable energy experience will be considered!

The Director of Business Development will report to the new dedicated Guardian EVI division, a start-up to serve the owners and operators of convenience stores and fleets and their electrification plans.

Primary Responsibilities / Required Experience:

• Bachelor's degree highly preferred. Recent graduates will also be considered.
• Previous experience in Electric Vehicles, fleet, solar, batteries or any other renewable energy experience is a MUST!!
• Direct business development activities related to the sale, installation and servicing of electrical vehicle chargers for the company
• Will become the subject matter expert on electric vehicle charging systems and processes
• Support 30+ salespeople across the business to grow electric vehicle charging sales to existing customer base.
• Understands and will support the grant application process required by our customer base
• Build relationships with current and new vendors to support the growth of Guardian EVI in the current markets and expand the business into new markets such as multi-family, hospitality, and retail
• Can be located anywhere across the company footprint, however, North Carolina, Georgia or Florida is preferred

Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this position require driving, sitting, typing, talking on the phone, using a smart mobile device, use of a desktop computer, and walking/moving around a job site that may be located outside.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time Exempt position Salary plus incentive.

Travel: Work from home, Travel approx. 20%. Location preference is Guardians footprint; however North Carolina, Georgia and Florida would be preferred,
