Join the team at a highly reputable 200+ bed acute care hospital in Southern New Jersey as a Hospital Infection Preventionist! They are seeking a talented and experienced Infection Preventionist who will be responsible for concurrent surveillance, collection, analysis and reporting of nosocomial infections, education for the facility staff, patient safety, quality improvement and other related Infection Control activities while maintaining compliance to regulatory standards.

As an Infection Preventionist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of patients, staff and visitors. You will work collaboratively with the clinical teams, providing leadership and expertise in the development and implementation of infection prevention strategies.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• A minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in an acute care setting
• Prior acute care hospital experience is required, and desirable teaching experience in healthcare (patients/staff) preferred
• Certification in Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology Inc. (CBIC) certified
• A Bachelor's degree is also preferred, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing highly preferred
