Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Excellent customer service skills
• Experience working with reservation system(s)

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Key Responsibilities

• Greeting every guest as they enter the restaurant
• Offer assistance to our guests with coats, bags, strollers, etc.
• Accommodating guest requests to best of ability
• Give warm farewell to every guest as they leave the restaurant
• Immediately notifying management of any guest complaints, including any interactions with a guest that causes the host to believe the guest is not 100% happy with their visit
• Answering phones in a professional and polite manner, taking reservations, accommodating guest requests, and answering any questions
• Offering the best as possible customer service
• Handling Tock (reservation system) to make guests’ check-in and seating as smooth as possible
• Maintaining updated table information on Tock
• Let events team know about any necessary information/inquiries
• Conveying all appropriate guest information to managers, staff, and chef (VIP’s, special occasions, events, special requests)
• Quoting accurate wait times for walk-in guests
• Maintaining a clean and orderly host station and entrance area
• Helping with other side work as needed

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• All employees are to maintain a neat and well-groomed appearance (specifics will be provided)
