Job Objectives

Welcome every guest like family by providing a warm, friendly greeting and a smile. Build connections with guests by inquiring about their needs and expectations; provide 100% guest delight by fulfilling and exceeding their expectations. Provide quick and efficient seating by communicating with the team and utilizing the welcome excellence seating system. Practice teamwork by assisting team members and responding to guest’s requests. Sincerely thank guests and invite them to return.

Essential Job Functions

- Treat all guests, team members and managers with dignity, respect and caring

- Displays a helpful, friendly and approachable attitude towards guests, team members and managers.

- Consistently follows and supports Olive Garden’s systems, policies and procedures

- Consistently arrives to work on time and ready for shift; is neat, clean and well-groomed according to Olive Garden appearance standards

- Practices teamwork by communicating with and assisting others to ensure a great guest and team member experience.

- Adheres to and practices all food safety and sanitation standards

- Assists guests by answering questions regarding Olive Garden and the local area

- Seats guests in a quick and efficient manner and engages in friendly conversation, provides clean menus, provides their server’s name and recommends items using product knowledge.

- Provides guests with accurate quote times and communicates with guests regularly during their wait to ensure they are comfortable.

- Provides a fond farewell and a sincere thank you to every guest
