Overview:
Responsible for maintenance of unit in an orderly and sanitary condition. Responsible for cleaning all areas of the unit. Develops additional housekeeping skills by actively participating in training programs.
Responsibilities:
- Daily sweep and mop all vinyl floor areas.
- Daily vacuum rugs throughout unit.
- Daily dust furniture.
- Daily scrubbing and cleaning of bathrooms and water fountains.
- Daily emptying trash containers throughout unit.
- Weekly clean inside windows throughout unit.
- Weekly vacuum under furniture throughout unit.
- Weekly polish furniture throughout unit.
- Weekly clean out supply and cleaning areas.
- Monthly wash exterior windows.
- Monthly clean light fixtures, heat vents, radiator, etc.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Some high school level work
- Must be able to follow written directions
- Housekeeping experience preferred but not mandatory
- Must be able to lift cleaning equipment and/or a minimum of 50 lbs.
