The Housekeeping Assistant Manager is responsible for planning, organising, and developing of the overall operation of the housekeeping department to a high standard of cleanliness, observing all guidelines regarding infection control and local standards while assuring the highest degree of quality patient and visitor care is maintained at all times. Responsible for staffing, scheduling, training and developing all staff.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

•  Manage the daily activities of the Housekeeping department to include appropriate cleaning of all bedrooms, public areas and offices.
•  Planning, organising and directing team members to ensure the highest degree of patient satisfaction and high standards of cleanliness across the spa
•  To monitor, check and maintain standards of cleanliness within all areas of the spa on a daily basis.
•  Daily supervision of all housekeeping staff at The World Spa
•  Purchase, order and maintain housekeeping supplies and inventory.
•  Recruit, schedule and train all new housekeeping staff members.
•  To adhere to all meetings such as health and safety, infection prevention and control, monthly team meetings.

•  Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and conduct.
•  Ensures the proper maintenance of all equipment; makes arrangements for repairand/or replacement of used and damaged equipment. To ensure that linen is at the standards required and that distribution within the spa it is done correctly by the Linen-Keeper
•  To maintain a professional and helpful attitude whilst on duty towards customers.
•  To liaise with all the other departments to ensure the smooth operation of the spa
•  To ensure that housekeeping staffs wear the correct uniform and name badges at all times whilst on duty.

Requirements

1+ years experience as manager
2+ years experience in housekeeping
Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
Ability to work in a team
Very good communication skills
Excellent physical condition and stamina
High school diploma or equivalent

World Spa Lounge offerings represent the same regions as the Spa: Eastern European, Mediterranean, Asian and American. World Spa Lounge feels casual and unpretentious still offering the highest quality of food & beverages and friendly, attentive service.

World Spa Club is a VIP area for our Members, who have a dedicated Lounge, with it’s own Bar and Restaurant, outdoor terrace that can be enjoyed by the Members during their Spa visit or on its own. Members of the Club order from the Ren restaurant and receive impeccable service and special attention.

In addition to the three dining venues, World Spa features 2 exclusive Private Rooms that have their own Russian banya for groups of 25 and 15 guests.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
