Housing Coordinator
We are seeking a Housing Coordinator for our Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) program!
As a member of the ACCS team, the Housing Coordinator will work as a member of Persons’ Team having primary responsibility for supporting person's served in attaining and keeping stable, secure housing. They will be responsible for educating staff and Persons using ACCS services about tenancy issues, housing rights, and resources.
The Housing Coordinator will assist people served with applying for and attaining subsidies, and work with Persons to secure housing that meets their needs and will guide the Person in learning the skills necessary to maintain community housing. They will provide a single point of contact for developing relationships with landlords, housing authorities, and DMH Area housing staff, to foster communication and provide advocacy.
Schedule: Full Time; Flexible schedules available
Pay Rate: $21.39/hour

Required Skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in team environment required
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills (in the English language) and present effectively to the public
- Must be able to take initiative and work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to seek, establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with the people we serve
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years related experience required
- Housing advocacy experience preferred
