We are currently looking for an experienced HR manager for homecare agency to head the department.

We provide home care services at our client’s homes by sending caregivers to assist with activities as, help with feeding, toileting, showering, bed baths, transfers, grooming, light housekeeping, transportation and more.

HR Manager Salary and Benefits:

Salary: $40,000.00 - $49,000.00 per year – Full Time Job

As a Home Care HR Manager, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

  • Develops and administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel at El Paso and the soon to be open Las Cruces Office.
  • Plans, organizes, and controls all activities of the HR department, including recruitment, new-employee orientations and training, compensation and benefits, employee evaluations, etc.
  • Maintain and grow database of qualified candidates through networking and referrals, cold calling, internet searches, job fairs, community events, conventions etc.
  • Responsible for ensuring all requirements of the office are in full compliance with all state, federal and company regulations.
  • Assists with administrative and clerical tasks as directed.
  • Ensures access to appropriately qualified support twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required for Human Resources Manager:

  • Keen personal assessment skills with the ability to accurately evaluate professional qualifications, work experience and personal characteristics.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of hiring laws, policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Strong work ethic; results focus with a strong desire to achieve goals.
  • Demonstrated multi-tasking ability and effective organizational skills to meet short deadlines with finite resources.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, retain and manage an effective team.
  • Computer proficiency including the ability to utilize multiple business software programs.

A few must-haves for the HR Manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Two (2) years of management experience that includes planning, staff supervision, recruiting and hiring.
  • Experience working in homecare agency (PAS) PREFERRED.
  • Leadership experience with groups or teams.
  • Passion for caring of elderly adults.

  • Monday to Friday
  • On call
