Human Resources Manager (HR Manager)
Job location: Calvert City, KY
Relocation support: Yes, negotiable. This is NOT a remote position.
Our client is a well-established international manufacturing company in the chemical products industry. We are currently looking for an experienced HR Manager or HR Assistant Manager for our client. At this HR Manager role, you will be managing all the activities of human resources management, including workers’ health and safety in the manufacturing company, payroll, benefits, employee relations, recruiting, training, performance evaluation, promotions, diversity, employee records, and etc..

Essential duties:
- Handle all activities of human resources management, including Workers’ health and safety in the manufacturing company, payroll, benefits, employee relations, recruiting, training, performance evaluation, promotions, diversity, and etc..
- Monitor and maintain employee records of pay, benefits, performance, accidents, and other activities to comply with the labor laws and regulations all the time.
- Manage payroll, benefits and attendance of the manufacturing workers and office staff.
- Update and file the company’s HR policies.
- Maintain the highest level of safety in the work environment all the time in compliance with the laws and regulations.
- Handle employee relations as HR Manager. If a problem occurs, investigate the problem and take necessary steps to resolve the problem.
- Take initiatives to reduce legal risk. Work with a legal team if necessary.
- Improve morale of employees, which will lead the company to increase productivity and retention.
- Support the company's environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) from the HR perspective.
- Report to President of the company.
Some of the minimum qualification requirements:
- 3+ years of work experience as HR Assistant Manager or HR Manager in a manufacturing company.
- Previous HR exp at a manufacturing company with involvement for safety.
- Previous HR experience with payroll, insurance, a 401k plan, workers’ health and safety in the manufacturing company, employee relations, recruiting, training, performance evaluation, promotions, and etc..
- Previous work experience to handle HR generalist’s roles.
- In-depth knowledge of the employment laws and regulations.
- Able to support President of the manufacturing company in relates to human resources management.
- A bachelor’s degree in business and/or the related work experience in HR.
- SHRM preferred.
- Able to use MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
- Detail-oriented. A team player.
- Able to start in 2 weeks if you receive a job offer.
Compensation: $100,000/yr
FLSA: Exempt
The hiring company will provide health, dental and vision insurance, as well as a 401k plan to its full-time employees in accordance with the company policy.
