About the job

Reporting to the Shopkeeper, the Sales Specialist maximise sales and to be a source of knowledge and expertise for the team. The Sales Specialist support the efficient work of the IKEA mechanical sales system to ensure the continued execution and success of the IKEA Concept and to give customers a positive shopping experience.

Your assignment

• You are passionate about our products and actively learn about their features and benefits, and proactively share this knowledge with our customers and co-workers
• You work with the Shopkeeper to improve range presentation by ensuring it appeals to our local customers and encourages them to buy more
• You know the department’s working routines, you follow-up and ensure they are done.
• You work together with your shopkeeper and your commercial team to sales steer products and meet department sales goals.
• You ensure the department has accurate sales space.
• You understand the relationship between sales and stock forecast work towards achieving the goals through continuous evaluation and follow up

Your profile

• You are customer-serviced focused with a passion in retail home furnishing business
• You take initiative and is a problem solver, self-motivated and a strong team player
• You’re a natural leader, have strong communication and interpersonal skills with knowledge of PC
• You have strong selling skills and professionalism
• You are able to guide and coach a team of co-workers to excel as Sales Associates
• You are physically fit to handle physical work and pro-longed hours of standing
• You are able to commit to working on AM & PM shift work, weekends and public holidays
