About Florence Hospital
Newly opened in July 2019, Florence Hospital, a campus of Mountain Vista Medical Center is a 36-bed hospital offering emergency care, as well as surgical, imaging and laboratory services. The hospital’s experienced team of doctors and nurses work together to provide expert care and the best possible patient experience to residents of Pinal County.
Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Imaging the Imaging Coordinator assists the Director of Imaging in providing overall direction of the Imaging Department. In the abscense of the Imaging Director the Imaging Coordinator assumes responsibility for the Imaging Department with consultation from the C-Suite as needed. Performs a variety of imaging procedures, including CT procedures or other imaging modality, as well as being responsible for patient safety protocols. Must be ARRT/CRT certified in pricipal modality and an additonal modality not limited to, but including ARRT/CTCT- Cat Scan, ARRT/Mammo or ARRT/Nuc Med. Functions as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in CQI activities. Other job duties assigned according to facility needs.
Requirements
Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
Current BLS certification.
2 year of prior radiologic/imaging experience minimally.
One year of prior CT/ or other modality experience.
Registered as an RT (R) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
ARRT Certification in CT/or other modality required or must be obtained within 1 year of employment.
AZ CRT and CTCT/or other modality certification granted by MRTBE.
Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.
Possesses a high level of knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
Proficiency with most major CT/DR X-ray equipment hardware and software (GE, Siemens, Philips).
Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
Advanced computer knowledge in PAC's workstation as well as computer software knowledge's to perform your daily task in EMR systems.
