Who We’re Looking For:

Destination Pet is seeking an Implementation Specialist to join our team. This position will support our Pet Centers migration to and adoption of our Pet Center Business Management software. If you are a Pet lover with experience in operating pet businesses, training new staff or daycare kennel scheduling, this may be the perfect fit for you. The job requires an individual can travel on-site to Pet Centers one to three times per month to conduct site training and support. The candidate must be a confident communicator that is invested in the success of our Pet Centers.

Integration Specialists will work with our new centers to help them migrate their business operations to our preferred business management software. The Integration Specialist will do remote training as well as coordinate the setup of our software, culminiating in a two to three day on-site training and support visit with the Pet Center. This unique role is a great opportunity for individuals interested in developing skills in staff training, project management, pet business operations, animal health informatics or pet-centered technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and conduct remote and on-site training for staff at Pet Centers
  • Answer questions about how to use our Pet Center Business Management Software
  • Coordinate with multiple centers concurrently to assure centers are meeting their integration deadlines
  • Able to follow a detailed plan with a structured timeline
  • Willing to travel to supply in-person support
Requirements:

Required Skills:

  • 2 years experience working in a pet grooming, kennel, or veterinary hospital
  • Or, 2 years of experience training staff on pet or human health practice management software
  • Or, 2 years of experience conducting technology adoption in pet or human health businesses
  • 2 years experience with MS Office
  • Able to travel 1 to 3 times per month to conduct training and support in our Pet Centers

Desired Skills:

  • 1 years experience with Gingr Pet-Care Business Software (preferred)
  • 1-year experience with Kennel Connection, Kennel Link, and PetExec Pet-Care Business Software
  • Experience doing staff training
  • Experience using Asana
  • Experience using Smartsheet
  • Experience Passportal password management tool
  • Self-motivated, ability to manage your schedule and meet project deadlines
  • Has demonstrated the ability to manage many projects at once
  • Is innately curious: you ask questions to gain knowledge and understanding
