Orion Family Services, an innovative non-profit community mental health agency, is looking to add a dedicated Individual Skill Developer to our team. We are a licensed outpatient mental health clinic located in Madison, Wisconsin, which provides an array of community services throughout southern Wisconsin. Our Individual Skill Developers work directly with children and their families in Dane County who have been enrolled in the Dane County Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) program. They focus on helping to build skills that aid in psychosocial rehabilitation such as communication, interpersonal skills, self-regulation, daily living skills, decision-making and more.

Position Available: Individual Skill Developer (Mental Health)

*Orion is currently looking for someone part-time for this position, however the position can build up to full-time if desired over the first 6 months of employment.

*This position does require after-school hours during the school year and regular travel within Dane County to see clients.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in a social work, human services, or related field
• Experience working with children and their families with mental health needs
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary team
• Must pass WI Caregiver background check
• Valid driver's license, insurance, and good driving record
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to laugh easily!

Job Type: This position will start part-time hourly, but will increase to a full-time salaried position within six months of hire as the case load grows.
