Responsibilities:

Assists the full time IT staff with the day-to-day IT operations of the park; assists full time IT staff with on-going project development and implementation.
- Provides PC and help desk support on site and over the phone; troubleshoots network connectivity issues.
- Analyzes, prioritizes and responds to specific issues with Point-of-Sale, Debit/Credit and related systems.
- Researches, resolves and responds to highly complex issues; provides expert and creative solutions; resolves in-house and 3rd party software and hardware issues.
- Performs upgrades and preventative maintenance to PC's and servers; ensures ongoing adherence to defined department and company policies and procedures.
- Provides guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.
- Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.
- Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
- Meets Cedar Fair's attendance requirements as outlined in Cedar Fair's attendance policies.
- Adheres to Cedar Fair's Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:

Some college preferred with a focus on a computer system program.
- Must possess a valid state/provincial driver's license.
- Ability to demonstrate working knowledge of network topologies (i.e. Ethernet, 100 Base T), network protocols (i.e. TCP/IP), and applications (i.e. FTP, SSH, VNC).
- Ability to demonstrate expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.
- Ability to demonstrate hight level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to demonstrate experience troubleshooting software, hardware, and network problems.
- Ability to demonstrate hardware networking experience, cabling, termination, switches.
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
- Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
- Ability to pass a background check, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law
