Galco Industrial Electronics, Inc., a privately held company headquartered in Madison Heights, Michigan, is a leading provider of industrial and commercial electrical and electronic controls, automation and motion products, repair, and engineering services. Galco serves commercial and industrial businesses, contractors, government agencies, institutions, and utilities across the country as well as internationally. We are in search of an experienced Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Account management and sales activities to promote and grow an established customer account base.
• Meet and/or exceed sales, profit and other key sales metrics establish by the sales leadership team
• Engage in phone based and digital sales activities centered on value added and solution-based selling of Galco’s products and services
• Build customer relationships, identify customer needs and provide product, technical and value-added solutions that meet our customer’s needs
• Work with and build strong relationships with key supplier partner representatives including their sales, support and technical team members.
• Participate in regular training and development programs to grow and expand knowledge level for products, services, sales processes and systems
• Create an environment that aligns with Galco’s values and promotes a positive environment in the workplace

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, as are strong organizational and multi-tasking skills. Must be detail-oriented and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of, and experience selling electronic components, industrial controls and automation is a preferred but not required.

Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) is also a plus.

Salary includes base pay plus commission potential.

Inside Sales Representative positions are Full-Time with benefits including 401(k) match and eligibility for annual profit sharing.
