We are looking for a competent Inventory Manager to monitor and report on the company’s inventory. Your job is important since the efficient handling of the company’s products and supplies is critical for the attainment of business goals. A successful inventory manager is a reliable professional with excellent record-keeping abilities. They possess great attention to detail and a business mindset. The goal is to ensure that all business operations have adequate material to achieve their objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Works with Warehouse Manager/Supervisor on product receiving, tagging, transfers, condemns, deliveries, signing and seasonal markdowns.
  • Establishes planograms for high volume categories
  • Orders + replenishes Food/Beverages/Snacks for Newsstands.
  • Replenish orders on other basic items as assigned
  • Reviews non-selling Inventory Report.
  • Leads cycle counts as needed with Airport Manager.
  • Oversees and maintains current inventory.
  • Set up new items in the system and generate purchase orders.
  • Oversee month-end performance reporting and action plans.
  • Quarterly review of aged inventory and product performance.
  • Oversee product margins.
  • Enter weekly price changes in the system.
  • All other duties to support management.

Skills

  • At least 5 years of merchandising experience required, with 3 or more years in a leadership role.
  • Previous experience in Merchandising, Buying, Product and Brand Development is required.
  • Strong product knowledge and understanding of competitive landscape.
  • Strong product sense with proven experience in driving product assortments to produce concepts that drive business.
  • He/she will need to have a keen attention to detail, the ability to prioritize workload, be well organized and multi-task. The individual must also demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong problem solving, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • High level of analytical skills and conceptual creative ability.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and tight timelines.
  • Ability to travel to out of state markets, trade shows, and retail locations.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 per year
