The Policy & Governance branch oversees strategic IT planning, and ICT policy and governance for PUB. It is responsible for developing and implementing policies and processes to ensure that PUB’s digital initiatives are aligned with our organisation goals and to ensure good governance of PUB’s ICT systems.

The incumbent will engage closely with line departments in PUB, as well as the technical divisions within the Infotech & Digital Transformation Department to: * Guide departments in defining and evaluating their business case and scoping their projects * Consolidate, track and review digitalisation plans * Develop PUB governance policies in consideration of IM8 and other COG requirements * Develop the processes and tools (e.g. data collection workflows, dashboards) necessary to maintain oversight of PUB’s digital masterplan, digital initiatives portfolio and policy compliance * Track progress of PUB's digital masterplan and compliance with IT governance policies and compile reports for senior management * Staff the agency ICT & Digitalisation Steering Committee

* Have a good appreciation of the general digital technology landscape and practical implementation issues * Ability to breakdown work processes, identify pain points, understand how users interact with digital solutions and design digitally enabled business processes * Familiar with government ICT governance policies (e.g. IM8) * A background in digital transformation, strategic IT planning, or enterprise architecture is preferred. In addition, experience in either one of the following: designing and implementing workflows and automation for collection and processing of data from various stakeholders to produce actionable insights; strategic project planning; or conceptualising and executing digital transformation projects will be an advantage * Strong Microsoft Excel skills are preferred, and it would also be useful to have experience with Microsoft Access/SQL, VBA, Qlik Sense, or Python/R for automation of data collation and processing. * Self-driven and committed individual able to work independently and within teams * Strong critical thinking, analytical and project management skills * Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with many stakeholders * Good writing ability and presentation skills
