Position: Jr Buyer
Job Description:
- Assist buyers and managers with writing purchase orders, buying merchandise, and managing inventory
- Analyze supplier and retail data to assist buyers in decision making on cost and sell
- Research suppliers to determine which ones fit company pricing and quality objectives
- Advise retail outlets how to price products based on purchase price and market trends
- Review purchase orders, conferring with other departments to verify orders, contacting vendors and evaluating bids offered by suppliers
- Help with various purchasing procedures, inventories, accounts, proposals and similar preparations
- Determine purchasing needs, analyzing quotes and bids for suitability, cost and product availability
- Evaluate samples, products and services
- Recommend and initiating purchase of materials, supplies and services
- An in store training will occur for a period of time. Time frame may vary by department
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft office
Salary Informaion: $25.00-$28.00 Per Hour
