The Labor Sales Account Manager is responsible for business development and managing existing client needs by analyzing account potential, initiating, developing, and closing sales; recommending new applications, sales strategies, and processes.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Manage existing customer relationships while seeking opportunity to increase revenue.
  • Build a knowledge base of each client's business, organization, objectives, and key stakeholders.
  • Manage the process of onboarding new customers and gathering all necessary paperwork to set them up in the system.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with the drive to increase revenue.
  • Establish and build strong working relationships with client personnel and team members to ensure the successful delivery of services to your customer.
  • Manage the day-to-day client interaction via email, phone, and consistent follow-up.
  • Set and manage client expectations.
  • Act as internal liaison between customer and organization to facilitate estimate creation and job completion.
  • Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships through consistent follow-up, and annual satisfaction surveys.
  • Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes while providing solutions.
  • Manage and direct the activities of the sales assistants.
  • Review prepared estimates of team members and address issues as appropriate.
  • Comply and enforce standard policies and procedures.
  • Obtain all necessary pre-sale job details to create estimates, obtain purchase orders, and activate jobs.
  • Develop copy for marketing materials and companywide communication.

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required – Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of Sales and Business Development experience, project & account management.
  • Ability to build rapport easily and deliver a friendly phone experience.
  • Solid computer skills and proficient with the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to take initiative, use good judgment, demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and follow-up on and carry multiple projects through to completion.

  • In compliance with applicable law, Resideo provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be performed in New York. Actual compensation is influenced by various factors, including, but not limited to, skills, experience, the specific office location, and pay differences based on the local labor market. The expected base salary range for this role in Brooklyn, NY is $73,513 - $122,522.

  • Incentive Eligibility This position is eligible for a Sales Incentive.
