ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT:
The Information Technology (IT) Department manages and maintains all technology systems for ~500 staff dispersed across 38+ offices.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
We are looking for a Lead Salesforce Developer to add to our growing team. This position, working alongside other team members, will play a lead role in expanding our primary Salesforce instance to serve as our organization wide Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform. Leveraging a number of proprietary and standard tools and applying best practices, the lead developer will provide system support, bug fixes, design & development, code review, test script implementation, and Integrations. A key responsibility of this position is to provide technical guidance and leading the Salesforce Development team towards successfully delivering projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Hands-on contributing developer in addition to leadership responsibilities.
- Works with the Project Manager and Business Analyst to translate business requirements into solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform and various integrations.
- Assist in the estimation of work effort, determination of required resources and schedule development.
- Works with the PM and BA as the technical lead to help design technology solutions, providing Salesforce technical advice, design direction, and leadership to all team members to advance the project.
- Participate in peer code reviews and unit testing.
- Design solutions that are functional, scalable, easily maintainable, leverages Salesforce best practices, and introduce new technologies when necessary.
- Develop end-to-end Salesforce solutions including custom platform development (APEX, Triggers, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce) and external data integration (middleware tools, Salesforce APIs).
- Automate business processes using Salesforce automation tools, such as Process Builder, Workflows, Formulas, Flow, Assignment Rules, and email Alerts.
- Provides application support by analyzing defects, replicating/fixing defects, and providing root cause analysis for defects. Troubleshoots and resolves functional and performance-related issues.
- Support post deployment activities including knowledge transfer, process documentation, and application bug fixes.
- Performs additional duties, as required.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field is required.
- Minimum 7 years’ work-related experience with Force.com developer toolkit – Apex, Visual Force, Force.com IDE, Form.com Migration Tool, Web Services/SOA & Metadata APIs.
- Good understanding of SDLC, waterfall and agile project methodologies.
- Lightning & Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) experience.
- Experience with SFDC / Community Cloud offerings.
- Apex and Visualforce development, design, configuration, testing and deployment of Salesforce.com solutions.
- In depth knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and experience building integrations with Salesforce.com.
- Experience in customization, configuration, Apex, Visualforce pages with JavaScript.
- Exceptional interpersonal and oral/written communication skills in technical and non-technical areas.
- Strong problem solving/troubleshooting and decision-making skills with the ability to complete assigned work with minimal instruction and supervision.
- Experience with Copado and integration with Jira Version Control.
- Experience with tools like Testable, XL – Connector, Workbench, FormAssembly, FormTitan and Dell Boomi is a plus.
LISC offers a competitive salary ($115K - 125K; salary commensurate with relevant work experience and location) as well as excellent benefits.
