Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken is a full service restaurant serving made to order, hand-battered fried chicken. Not to be confused with Nashville hot chicken; we serve southern spicy fried chicken. We make all our southern sides in-house daily; from shredding fresh cabbage for our coleslaw to cutting potatoes for our potato salad. Most of our sides tend to be on the sweeter side to pair perfectly with our chicken. Enjoy a sweet tea, a really big beer, or a bottle of DOM with your meal. Finish up with one of our simple southern pecan, chess, sweet potato, or chocolate chess pies baked daily. We are currently seeking experienced Restaurant Lead Servers and Trainers to help lead our staff and help us assure that each customer that walks through our doors becomes a regular. This is a “hands-on” position, and you will be trained and groomed to become an instrumental member of our rapidly growing company. Qualified candidates must be charismatic, loyal, dependable, dedicated, experienced, and natural leaders. They must have a passion for this industry and truly understand customer service. Previous experience as a manager, server or cashier in the restaurant industry is always a plus!

Responsibilities

• Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
• Attend to customers upon entrance
• Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages
• Take and serve orders
• Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products
• Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
• Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
• Issue bills and accept payment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $35.00 per hour
