Promisetown Preschool is looking for a lead VPK teacher (CDA, FCCPC, or a Florida teaching certificate a plus) for a 3 day (Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8am-2:30pm) position beginning August 2023.

Promisetown Preschool is a faith-based preschool and uses the Creative Curriculum.

Responsibilities include lead instruction with a co-teacher for up to16 students ages 4-6 including lesson planning and implementing age/developmentally appropriate curriculum.

We are looking for someone who is a team player as we are a tight-knit group of teachers that work together to be our very best.

School hours are 8:30am-2pm and teachers are expected to arrive at least 15 minutes before school begins to set up their classrooms and to clean their rooms at the end of each day.

The school day is focused on the socialization of the children and not that of the teachers. Although the day should be fun for staff as well, you should be spending most of your time with the children and have very little time to socialize. A Promisetown staff candidate should be willing to get messy, be creative, and have fun!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
