What does it take to become a Civican?

Civica is looking for a Library Assistant who is passionate about promoting good reading habits among students. You will be deployed to a School with Special Education Needs.

A day in the life…

• Assisting teachers and students with their enquiries
• Promoting library’s collection through thematic displays and other means
• Running programmes and activities to promote reading
• Procuring and cataloguing of books and other resources
• Preparing monthly reports

• Min GCE ‘O’ Level with 4 passes including English
• Experience working with special needs children preferred but not a must
• Able to work independently, familiar with MS Office and digital tools
• Passionate about books and enjoy interacting with students
