Westwood Health and Rehab in Springdale, AR is currently looking for an Experienced Nursing Home Administrator.

Westwood is a 5 star skilled nursing facility offering short term rehabilitaiton and long term care services.

As the Administrator, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.

The primary duties of this job include:

· Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the facility’s programs and activities.

· Maintain written policies and procedures that govern the operation of the facility.

· Act, OSHA, and other pertinent laws governing job positions.

· Assist department directors in the development and implementation of performance evaluations.

· Assist department directors in the development and use of departmental policies and procedures and establish a rapport in and among departments so that each can realize the importance of teamwork.

· Interpret the facility’s policies and procedures to employees, patients, family members, visitors, government agencies, etc., as necessary.

· Ensure that all employees, patients, visitors, and the general public follow established policies and procedures.

· Assume the administrative authority, responsibility and accountability of directing the activities and programs of the facility.

· Represent the facility at and participate in top level meetings.

EDUCATION

A degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or other related degree is preferred.

EXPERIENCE

Must be a licensed nursing home administrator in the state of Arkansas with at least 2 years of experience as a SNF facility administrator.

Must possess a current, unencumbered Arkansas Nursing Home Administrator’s license.
